We are seeking a General Dentist who is passionate about clinical excellence, patient trust, and contributing to a premium healthcare experience.
Position Purpose
As a General Dentist at Nova, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care within a structured treatment journey.
You will focus on:
* Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning
* Supporting complex and implant-related cases
* Building strong patient relationships that drive confidence and case acceptance
* Collaborating closely with Treatment Coordinators, surgeons, and support teams

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Excellence
* Deliver comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning aligned to long-term patient outcomes
* Provide high-quality general dentistry including restorative, preventative, and maintenance care
* Identify and support implant and advanced restorative opportunities within treatment plans
* Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams on complex cases
* Maintain accurate, detailed clinical records and documentation
Patient Experience & Case Acceptance
* Deliver a premium, calm, and highly personalised patient experience
* Build trust through clear, confident communication of treatment options and outcomes
* Partner closely with Treatment Coordinators to support high-value case acceptance
* Guide patients through their full treatment journey—from consultation to final restoration
* Manage patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
Clinical Governance & Quality
* Uphold Nova’s high standards in infection control, safety, and clinical governance
* Ensure compliance with AHPRA, Dental Board standards, and all relevant legislation
* Participate in peer review, case discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Deliver consistently high-quality outcomes aligned to best practice
Professional Growth
* Actively pursue development in implants, full-arch, and advanced restorative dentistry
* Engage in ongoing CPD and internal clinical development programs

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
* Current AHPRA registration (unrestricted)
* Strong diagnostic and comprehensive treatment planning capability
* Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
Highly Regarded:
* Interest or experience in implants, cosmetic, or advanced restorative dentistry
* Experience working in a structured, multi-stage treatment model
* Ability to support high-value treatment discussions
