**Description**:
The Role
The Client Support Specialist operates as the key point of contact for clients on key aspects of tenancy management, and coordinates support services and community participation programs to ensure long term and sustainable tenancies are built in the community.
Providing support to our clients who are dealing with homelessness and complex needs
Working closely colleagues, stakeholders and external support providers
Following guidelines outlined in the Tenancy Act
Actioning client rent arrear reports
Achieving KPIs as agreed with your manager
**To ensure success in this role, you will demonstrate**:
Experience in the community sector such as case management, case work(child protection/disability)
Experience in Community Housing coupled with an understanding of issues affecting socially disadvantaged groups and those with complex and challenging housing needs
Experience managing a portfolio of tenancies or case load
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and software operating systems
Current Australian driver's licence
