Signage Apprentice
(New or Part-Way Through Apprenticeship)
This role is focused on learning and supporting the production and installation of signage at Burst. We're open to hiring either a brand-new apprentice or someone already part-way through their signage apprenticeship.
You'll work hands-on across a wide range of signage tasks including fabrication, printing, finishing, vehicle graphics, and installation. You'll be supported by experienced signwriters and installers and given the opportunity to build strong, well-rounded trade skills.
Most work is completed in our Seaford factory, with occasional on-site installs depending on job requirements.
This is a practical, trade-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work, and wants to build a long-term career in signage.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting with the production and installation of signage and graphics
* Supporting vehicle, wall, window, and general signage installs
* Preparing surfaces and materials (cleaning, masking, measuring, basic disassembly)
* Printing, laminating, trimming, and finishing vinyl graphics
* Assisting with fabrication and assembly of signage components
* Learning to read artwork, layouts, measurements, and install instructions
* Helping problem-solve on jobs where sites or surfaces aren't standard
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
* Occasionally assisting with on-site installs when required
Skills & Experience
* Open to brand-new apprentices or those already mid-way through an apprenticeship
* Interest in signage, fabrication, printing, or hands-on trade work
* Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop skills over time
* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Practical mindset and ability to work with tools and materials
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
(Any prior exposure to signage, vinyl, fabrication, or trade environments is a bonus, but not essential.)

Pay rates are aligned to the relevant stage of the apprenticeship and are set at 10% above the applicable award rate.
