Tasks
* Manage and coordinate the packing and removals team to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations
* Oversee the packing, loading, transportation and unloading of customer belongings with a focus on quality and care
* Ensure all packing materials, equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and readily available
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for packing supplies as needed
* Provide hands-on support to the team during peak periods or complex moves
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements
* Foster a positive, safety-conscious work culture and provide coaching and development to team members
* Liaise with the customer service team to address any customer queries or concerns
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry
* Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Sound knowledge of packing techniques, materials and equipment
* Forklift and other machinery operating licences highly regarded
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
