EOI - Category Specialist, ICT Hardware
* Role Type: Temporary opportunity for up to 6 months, with potential for extension
* Salary: DCS clerk grade 9/10, $129,464 - $142,665 plus 12% Super and Leave Loading
* Location: McKell, Haymarket, 4PSQ and you home office Flexible and hybrid working arrangements available across NSW, with 50% office attendance per fortnight

This role is working within ICT Category Management, supporting the Hardware Category Manager to oversee the management of two (2) whole of government panels. The ideal candidate will need strong interpersonal and communication skills for regular stakeholder engagement and vendor management.
About the role
Day to day responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders, ensure value for money and meet business and government objectives.
* Help create and execute category management plans that address stakeholder needs.
* Support pricing reviews, contract negotiations, performance reviews, supplier issue resolution, work allocation, participation in supplier forums, and preparation of contract recommendations.
What you will bring to this role
To be successful in the role, you will have:
* Data and risk analysis and, reporting skills
* Stakeholder and relationship management skills
* Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in negotiation and contract execution
* Project management skills
* Experience in contract management and performance reviews
* Understanding of NSW Government legislation, procurement policies, framework and processes
