The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant with strong quantitative capability and a genuine interest in climate related business impacts.
You will support client delivery across value chain analysis and strategic problem solving, translating complex variables into practical insights and clear financial outcomes, quantifying the financial impact climate-related risks may have on an organisation. You will work closely with an experienced leadership team and contribute to the ongoing growth of Neoteric through client delivery, proposal support and solution development.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys tackling ambiguity, building robust models, and shaping recommendations that can be implemented across real world operations.
Key Focus Areas
* Analyse climate-related risks and translate impacts into operational and financial implications
* Build quantitative models, cost models and scenario analysis tools to support decision making
* Conduct value chain analysis and identify strategic and operational responses
* Work through complex problems, develop hypotheses and design practical solutions
* Support delivery across consulting workstreams, including stakeholder engagement and reporting
* Contribute to business development through proposal support and relationship building
About You
* Strong analytical capability, with experience in financial modelling, cost modelling, or quantitative analysis
* Comfort working through complexity and ambiguity with a structured approach to problem solving
* An interest in climate risk impacts across operations, strategy and financial performance
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
* A proactive mindset, with the drive to contribute in a growth phase business
* Ability to gain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance
Experience in strategy or management consulting is highly regarded, along with any local market relationships in Newcastle and or Sydney.
