The Role
This is a Full-time position based in Wantirna South, Victoria, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. You will supervise the maintenance department, including planning, developing, and improving all site maintenance aspects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain safe systems of work in the workplace.
2. Supervise the maintenance team, including Mechanical Fitters and Electricians.
3. Oversee the daily maintenance plan, ensuring work orders are completed within budget and resources, and allocate resources for planned work and breakdowns.
4. Inspect plant to identify improvements and safe practices.
5. Work closely with operations to meet production goals.
6. Manage spare parts inventory, reviewing and following up to ensure efficient repairs and maintenance.
7. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance processes, safety, and operational standards.
8. Assist with mechanical breakdowns and plant servicing as needed.
Hours are Monday to Friday. Candidates should have a Mechanical qualification or similar.
