About the Role

* We are seeking a seasoned operations manager to lead our project team in delivering complex paint and blast, remediation, and waterproofing projects.
* The successful candidate will have experience supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a proven track record of ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
">
1. Lead and manage the project team to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Ensure project compliance with customer contract conditions and scope of works, including accurate weekly progress and financial reports.
3. Maintain accurate records of all site instructions and client verbal instructions, and prepare variation notices as required.
4. Monitor and record causes of delays, preparing notices of delay and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
5. Coordinate and develop process improvement and standard work methodology across service activities to drive continuous improvement and process stability.
6. Monitor and analyze Facility Zero Harm performance, setting improvement actions as required.
7. Drive effective planning and coordination of project design, fabrication, and installation activities across designated projects.
8. Review and analyze project documents, estimates, specifications, and drawings in conjunction with key stakeholders to clearly define project scope and boundaries.
9. E nsure project programming, scheduling, and resource allocation and planning are completed with sufficient lead time and effective to deliver profitable works.

About You
">
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated experience supervising teams and managing complex projects, with a strong track record of delivery.
* Experience in asset remediation and infrastructure projects, with blasting and painting, and concrete rehabilitation works highly regarded.
* NACE 2 certified desirable but not essential.
* Technical knowledge in coatings, surface preparation, management of hazardous substances, and application processes.
* Familiarity with Quality systems, progressing, ITPs, QA/QC liaison.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
