The role
As Plant Manager, you will lead and coordinate all concrete plant operations to achieve production targets, budget outcomes, and customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of integrity, pride, and excellent customer service.
You will have the opportunity to drive operational improvements and maintain strong safety, quality, and compliance standards.
This role is located in Gisborne, Victoria.
Responsibilities
* Provide supervision to Concrete Agitator Drivers (company & Lorry Owner Drivers)
* Coordinate plant maintenance
* Supervision of batching staff
* Control staff working hours
* Manage stocks of raw materials
* Ensure safety, health, environmental and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met
* Ensure a high level of customer service
What you will need to succeed
* Experience in a supervisor position in the construction materials industry
* Be able to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies
* A strong customer both internal and external service focus
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

Our business
Central Pre-Mix Concrete is an integrated concrete and aggregate operation. We own five concrete plants, a hard rock aggregate quarry & modern batch plants are located at Deer Park, Campbellfield, Hallam, Port Melbourne and Gisborne. We also have a fleet of agitator trucks & an aggregate and cement cartage fleet.
