This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. As a Coordinator, you will support the delivery of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach at a local level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
* Use your qualifications in Early Childhood or Allied Health to support evidence-based decision-making.
* Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
* Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
* Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
