We are currently recruiting for experienced painters and brush hands for on-site work based in Rutherford. Our client is one of Australia's largest construction companies specialising in modular buildings.
Key responsibilities
* Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting
* Covering exposed objects and surfaces
* Mixing and applying paints and sealants to the interior and exterior or refurbished demountable classrooms
* Working as part of a team
* Reporting to site management and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Candidate requirements
* Trade certificate in Painting & Decorating or a minimum 1 year experience as brush hand
* Ability to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
* Willingness to work 38 hours a week with potential for overtime
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment physical, including a drug and alcohol test
