Job Title: Advanced Head and Neck Surgery Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Head and Neck Surgery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert care to patients under the supervision of consultant staff while undertaking a comprehensive postgraduate fellowship training program in Head and Neck Reconstructive and Skull Base Surgery.
The role involves providing patient care, contributing to teaching and mentoring of registrars, engaging in complex procedures such as microvascular free flaps, and participating in research, quality improvement, clinical audit, and administrative activities within the department.
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert patient care under supervision of consultant staff within a postgraduate fellowship program in Head and Neck Reconstructive and Skull Base Surgery.
* Contribute to teaching and mentoring of registrars.
* Engage in complex procedures such as microvascular free flaps.
* Participate in research, quality improvement, clinical audit, and administrative activities within the department.
Requirements:
* Current medical practitioner eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA.
* Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in ENT/Head and Neck Surgery and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
* International Medical Graduates who are overseas trained specialists must be assessed by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and obtain limited registration with AHPRA on a specialist pathway satisfactory to the college, AHPRA, and HNELHD prior to commencement.
