We provide new & used sales for commercial vehicles and construction equipment, along with service, spare parts and finance for a wide range of clients in transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government bodies.
STM Trucks & Machinery is now the authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz & Freightliner and Fuso Trucks and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing Queanbeyan branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.
Responsibilities
* Respond to breakdown calls
* Maintain the service vehicle, including supplied tools, and workshop in a safe & orderly manner
* Scheduled routine maintenance of equipment
* Effective daily communication with Service Manager & Scheduler
* Promoting healthy relationships with customers and colleagues
You will possess
* Trade certificate for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
* A strong technical aptitude
* Excellent presentational and time management skills
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
