Tenterfield Care Centre is part of the Apollo Care Alliance, providing high-quality residential aged care in a homely environment. Our mission is to enable residents to live their best life with dignity and grace, empowering our employees with the necessary resources and support. TCC offers residential aged care (including dementia-specific care), independent living, respite, and community aging services through the operation of Haddington Nursing Home and Millrace Hostel.
The Role
We are offering casual opportunities for multiple Personal Care Workers to join our facility based in Tenterfield, NSW. Personal Care Workers contribute to resident comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident\'s care plan.
What You Will Do
* Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident\'s needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating and drinking, etc.
* Clinical care such as medication support, basic dressings, wound care, measuring vital signs, etc.
* Social and recreational support such as assisting residents\' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities.
* Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals.
* Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts.
Who are you and what will you bring?
* Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
* Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
* Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
* Please note - Covid Vaccinations are NO longer a requirement
* Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
