Position Information
Trangie Central School has an enrolment of 172 students, ranging from kindergarten to Year 12, with 48% of students identifying as Aboriginal. The school is located 72 km west of Dubbo, with agriculture being one of the main local industries.

Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach Year 7-10 Science, Stage 6 Biology & Chemistry or Physics.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff and parents to improve student learning outcomes
* Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
* Ability to initiate innovative programs, such as STEM and enrichment programs, that are inclusive of a Central School environment.
* Commitment to the Department of Education's Aboriginal Education policies.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
