Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced hospitality professional to lead our team as General Manager of a brand-new development in Bondi Beach NSW. The venue is located in the old Bondi Pavilion and offers all-day dining from sunrise to sunset.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the venue, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations. This high-level management role requires someone with excellent leadership and motivational skills, as well as extensive food and beverage knowledge.
About the Role
* To develop and maintain a positive culture across all areas of the venue.
* To oversee revenue generation and local area marketing.
* To lead and manage all teams and staff within the venue.
* To implement superior service standards that consistently exceed guest expectations.
* To work with chefs and restaurant/venue managers on menu development, budgeting, and planning.
* To oversee stock control and management, including purchasing.
* To train, develop, and coach management and food & beverage staff.
* To ensure all areas of the venue are compliant with health regulations and WHS.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
* Qualifications/training in Hospitality Management.
* Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar high-level management role.
* At least 3+ years of experience at the appropriate level.
* Customer service experience as a manager.
* Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
* Familiarity with hospitality management software programs.
* Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
* Acute financial management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong business acumen.
* A driven and results-focused approach to work.
