Aerospace Maintenance Specialist
This role involves working as a full-time Aerospace Maintenance Specialist, responsible for the repair, servicing and maintenance of CT7 Engines & components. The ideal candidate will have a Cert 4 in a mechanical trade and demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities:
1. Repair, servicing and maintenance of CT7 Engines & components (i.e. batteries, wheels and brakes)
2. Ensuring all maintenance work is performed to the highest standard, in a timely manner and in accordance with the appropriate approved data
3. Upkeep of workshop & equipment
4. Completion of appropriate documentation
5. Travel to other ports to assist with on wing engine maintenance
Requirements:
* Cert 4 in a mechanical trade
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
* A demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
* Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
* Working knowledge of WHS procedures
* A valid driver's licence
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence
* Must be willing to relocate to Wagga Wagga N.S.W.
* High level of visual acuity
Preferred Selection Criteria:
* Cert 4 in mechanical trade industry or Cert 4 in Aeroskills-mechanical
* CASA B1.1 Licence
* GE CT7 or other Gas turbine engine experience
* Knowledge of CASA regulations
