About the Role Casual Positions: Ability to work at least 3 shifts per week Availability and flexibility to work on short notice, covering sick leave, planned annual leave and long service leave Open to working AM and PM shifts - our department opens at 6:30am and closes at 9:30pm On site training provided Ability to work at different sites as required Adaptable, willing to learn and can-do attitude Works under pressure and against KPI’s As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include: Prepping of documents for scanning with strict guidelines o Scanning the paper medical record into an electronic format using the Kodak and Infomedix software systems in a timely and efficient manner. Accurate entry of information into a variety of systems including iPM and SMR Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties. (Release of Information calls after hours) Tracking the location of all medical records that pass through the department, and those known to be located in other departments of the hospital. Facilitate the timely, efficient and confidential transfer of medical records or health information to other departments and sites within Monash Health This role is based in Kingston, Melbourne, Victoria. About You You are highly organised, with great attention to detail, and you enjoy the variety that comes from a fast-paced clerical role where priorities can and do change. Multi-tasking comes naturally to you and in addition, you have well developed IT, written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in a Scanning Centre is preferred but not essential.
