About the role/Job Summary:
The Maintenance Fitter role forms part of the Maintenance and repairs to factory plant and machinery as required, in accordance with planned maintenance. It includes coordination with plant operators to establish items of plant to be inspected/repaired during crushing season and any other tasks as directed by the Maintenance/Shift Supervisor.
Position Details:
* 2 year Fixed Term Full Time Position with possibility of being permanent
* Wage rate as per Enterprise Agreement (varies from C10 - $1,472.90pw to C8 - $1,608.80pw)
* Located at any of the Mackay Sugar Mills in the Mackay region, Australia

As a minimum you will hold and / or maintain the following Qualifications and Licenses:
* An excellent focus on safety and a strong commitment to the health and wellbeing of all work colleagues
* Engineering Trade Qualification (Mechanical Fitting - Fixed Plant)
* Experience in the Sugar Industry or other Heavy Manufacturing Industries

o 4 Years Trade Experience
