The Lumus Imaging team at the Epping Consulting Centre is looking for a Casual receptionist to join our department, working closely with a team of dedicated and skilled individuals. This role mostly involves outpatient appointments, with occasional interactions with patients from hospital transfers. The department operates between 7 am and 9 pm, with some weekend work available with competitive remuneration and opportunities to work at other cluster sites such as Bundoora and Greensborough.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients at the front desk and handling incoming telephone calls.
* Manage radiology exam bookings.
* Perform general clerical duties.
* Efficiently manage patient records with precise data entry skills.
* Maintain courteous communication with other receptionists, referring doctors, and medical professionals.
* Handle billing and banking tasks related to Medicare, DVA, health funds, and work‐cover.
