Maintenance Officer
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification, knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements, and experience in property maintenance.
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs, mowing and pruning gardens, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and minor renovations
* Maintain gardens, grounds, and other outdoor areas
* Coordinate with external contractors as needed
* Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations
* Collaborate with other teams to achieve service excellence
Requirements:
* Trade qualification (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements
* Experience in property maintenance, preferably in aged care or community housing
* A valid driver's license and ability to obtain relevant checks (e.g., police clearance)
