Job Opportunity for Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to fill this critical role in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing therapy to patients to assist with safe discharges and/or treatment during their admission and outpatient treatment period.
Responsibilities of the Role:
* Assessing and providing occupational therapy to patients to facilitate independence in daily living activities.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
* Providing education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
* Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA. A minimum of three years post-graduate experience is required, with experience or demonstrated interest in Oncology/Haematology being highly valued.
