The ITTC administers a four-day intensive trauma treatment program, currently for Veterans diagnosed with PTSD.
Role Description
This is a part-time face-to-face or hybrid post depending on the multiple roles available. Clinic located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The roles available include Intake, Trauma Treatment Planning, Intensive Trauma Treatment Therapist, Client Follow Up - Post Treatment. Often clinicians have the flexibility to rotate through all or some of the roles.
Qualifications and Skills
* AHPRA Registered as a Psychologist - Clinical Psychology Endorsement would be desirable
* Master's, Doctoral, or PhD degree in Psychology
* Experience in Psychological Testing and Diagnosis
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with treatment planning, with a trauma focus would be desirable
* Experience working with Trauma presentations would be desirable including PTSD
* Experience working with Veterans and/or 1st responders would be desirable
* Experience in exposure therapy and especially prolonged imaginal and interoceptive exposure would be desirable
* Experience in EMDR is desirable and especially EMDR 2.0
