We're seeking a proactive and motivated individual to lead our Estimating team based in our Stapylton office!

The Opportunity

FT - Monday - Friday
This role will see you managing the estimating for large scale residential projects including installation and the in-floor covering estimation processes for Tiles, Hard Flooring, Glue, Grout, Silicone and Scotia to our B2B builders’ division.
This role will also require a high standard of personal demeanour and communication skills. Working with a team of professionals, you will be required to demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and work as an enthusiastic team leader.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Management of a small team and providing support, guidance and motivation to team, ensuring all Estimators are achieving their KPI’s
* Co-ordinate weekly team meetings
* Ensure team understands company policies and procedures and respecting business values
* Address any issues with staff and actively communicate any issues with National Builder Support Manager
* Liaise closely with Business Development Managers, Accounts Managers and Builders to gain relevant knowledge and understanding of projects
* Ensure entire team are always delivering professional levels of service and delivering on our customer commitment.
* Prioritising and keeping the team organised and up to date with workload.
* Taking responsibility and ownership for Team’s performance and attitude
* Using up to date NT forms/ templates and following correct Estimation procedures
* Utilise Tile Express estimation software, including being able to read and understand building plans
* Complete client Quotes/ Amendments/ Variations within required timeframes, answering phones, reporting and other admin tasks
* Assisting other internal teams in quotes, amendments, site starts etc. when required
* All aspects of training kept up to date including online and onsite
About You
* Previous estimation experience is an advantage
* Have a natural drive to motivate and guide people
* Highly organised and adaptable with exceptional time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail
* High computer literacy skills including experience using Microsoft Office products
* Self-motivated and a quick learner
