Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to menu development.
Key Duties
* Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
* Supervise and train kitchen staff
* Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulations
* Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Manage stock ordering, rotation, and inventory control
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Skills & Experience Required
* Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
* Minimum 2-years relevant work experience as a Chef
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Full-time position (minimum 38 hours per week)
