The Mildura Eisteddfod Society (MES) conducts the annual Mildura Eisteddfod, taking place in June each year. One of regional Victoria's largest Eisteddfods, the event attracts thousands of entries each year across the disciplines of dance, speech and drama, modern and classical vocal, pianoforte, instrumental, choral and calisthenics.
Responsibilities
* Coordination of scheduling, programming, registrations and event delivery
* Monitoring and managing correspondence, including handling enquiries from entrants and teachers
* Supporting the treasurer to manage finance and sponsorships
* Supporting the president to manage compliance, governance and partnerships
* Supporting the volunteer and awards coordinators with their respective responsibilities
Qualifications
* Ability to use online systems such as competition management systems and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
* Ability to stay cool under pressure
* A current valid Victorian Working with Children Check
Hours will vary throughout the year, with the busiest period being from April to July.
