About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Account Manager to drive the growth of our Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) business across Victoria. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager – VIC, you will be pivotal in connecting with retailers and engaging with on-floor sales teams to drive market share and brand loyalty. This role suits a "lead by example" professional who is dedicated to delivering outstanding sales results and providing best-in-class customer service. Key Duties and Responsibilities Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with in-store proprietors, managers, and sales staff. Sales Excellence: Achieve revenue budgets and monitor daily sales data to address issues and identify growth opportunities. Training & Demonstrations: Sell, train, and demonstrate a variety of premium products across multiple categories to retail staff and consumers. Call Cycle Planning: Manage a disciplined call cycle, including the ability to attend before and after-hours in-store training sessions. Visual Merchandising: Utilize strong visual merchandising and presentation skills to inspire others and elevate the brand on the retail floor. Reporting: Provide regular territory updates and reports to the national sales team. Skills & Experience Required Industry Background: Previous experience in account management, preferably within the electrical appliance industry. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse range of retailers. Training Ability: Proven experience in building, managing, and training retail staff to improve their product knowledge and sales performance. Technical Aptitude: Strong IT skills and a passion for learning about new, innovative products.
