As they continue to expand their presence in NSW they are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to help drive growth and maintain strong industry relationships.The RoleReporting to the Director, this role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and successful sales team.
The focus will be on identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and promoting the company's premium range of timber products, including LVL, I-joists, and flooring systems.Key Responsibilities:Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive sales growth in the engineered timber sectorManage and expand existing customer accounts with a focus on long-term partnershipsProvide technical expertise and product recommendations to commercial clients, builders, and architectsWork closely with customers throughout project design and delivery phases to ensure the continued use of engineered timber solutionsRepresent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking activitiesCollaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve business targetsRegularly visit clients on-site across NSW to strengthen relationships and provide hands-on supportAbout You:Proven experience in Business Development within the building materials or construction industryStrong technical knowledge of engineered timber products, including LVL, I-joists, and prefabricated flooring systemsAbility to read and interpret building plans and communicate effectively with trades, builders, and specifiersA natural relationship-builder with a consultative sales approachStrong negotiation and influencing skills to achieve win-win outcomes for clients and the businessResults-driven mindset with an understanding of financial targets and commercial viabilityTeam-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approachPassion for sustainable building solutions and the role of engineered timber in modern constructionWhat's on Offer?
