Together, we operate 5 resource recovery facilities, working to increase recovery rates and divert 330,000 tonnes of waste from landfill.
Our partnership will help the Gold Coast avoid more than 77,000 tonnes of carbon emissions—equivalent to removing 47,500 cars from the road—while supporting Australia's national sustainability targets. The Opportunity
Veolia is currently seeking enthusiastic multi-skilled Operators to join our friendly collaborative team for the City of Gold Coast, based at our Stapylton and Reedy Creek sites. You will help to ensure the safe and efficient operations of heavy machinery such as Articulated Dump trucks, Graders, Rollers and more within our waste and recycling processing facilities.
The opportunities offer a 4 on/4 off roster. Morning shift of 6:30am-5:00pm

What you’ll be responsible for
* Operating various machinery such as Articulated Dump Trucks, Graders, Rollers and more
* Assist in the operational management of the work areas.
* Communicating with the Operations Supervisor prior to commencement of work to ensure work instructions are clear and work location is confirmed.
* Work with drivers to assist in the correct unloading of waste at the site.
* Managing various waste streams
What you’ll need to be successful:
* Safety First attitude
* Civil or Mining Heavy Machinery Experience - Articulated Dump Truck, Grader, Roller, licenses/tickets highly preferred.
* Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Be able to work well within a team environment
