THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about working with customers? Do you have an interest in the building industry? Well, this hybrid position is perfect for you! Join our Gepps Cross retail store, liaising directly with our customers to ensure that their products are ready for pick-up and loading on-time, every time.
This is an ongoing, casual role (with the potential to go permanent), working across Monday to Saturday (with loading rates and potential for overtime ).
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Greet and serving customers in our 'pick up' area, ensuring that orders are ready for collection.
o Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively resolve any concerns raised by the customer.
o Load customer vehicles via forklift according to the safety guidelines.
o Move stock and finished goods around the store and surrounding environment safely.
o Picking, packing and scanning stock ready for pick-up.
o Assist retail team with in-store duties as required.
o General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
o Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
o Forklift license or willingness to obtain.
o Proven ability to provide solutions to enhance the customer's experience.
o Previous experience within customer service/inventory management.
o Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as autonomously
o Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
o Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
