- The ability to bring high quality general taxation advice to employees as it relates to their International or Domestic assignments
- Experience researching relevant tax laws, tax treaties and planning opportunities for a cost and tax effective assignment structure of Hatch's global assignee population
- Expertise in the revision of cost estimates in relation to the projected tax costs of global assignments
- Assistance in the year-end payroll review and reconciliation process for the assignees in the Australia-Asia region of Hatch and preparation of any required tax adjustments to compensation
- Coordination of shadow payroll
- Stakeholder management and coordination of third-party services relating to tax advice and tax return preparation for Hatch assignees
- Respond to payroll and tax related queries from employees or other key stakeholders.
**You bring to the role**:
You will have solid experience in expatriate taxation and expatriate payroll knowledge, combined with demonstrated experience in dealing with and advising on the taxation of Australia-Asia region's employees' inpatriate and expatriate assignments, expatriate payroll and tax equalization concepts. Ideally, you are qualified in Accounting/Business or a related field.
Please also be aware that flexibility of working hours may be required on occasions to connect with stakeholders across global time zones.
