Job Description
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading and coordinating mechanical design activities across a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will deliver design outputs that meet budget and schedule targets. They will guide layout development and conceptual design with lead designers, perform detailed engineering calculations and equipment sizing, review mechanical drawings, data sheets, scopes, vendor documentation, and tender evaluations.
Key Responsibilities

* Guide layout development and conceptual design with lead designers
* Perform detailed engineering calculations and equipment sizing
* Review mechanical drawings, data sheets, scopes, vendor documentation, and tender evaluations
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineers Australia recognised) and 10+ years' experience in mechanical design, construction, and commissioning of mineral processing plants. You will have a strong understanding of wet and dry plant design, and EPC/EPCM delivery models. Additionally, you will possess demonstrated ability to lead project teams and mentor junior engineers.
