Oncology Nursing Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients with oncology needs.
The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration, minimum 2 years' experience in acute care nursing, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Day Oncology experience is highly regarded, and IV cannulation and chemotherapy knowledge is preferred but training is available.
About the Role:
* This is a permanent part-time role working 64 hours per fortnight with weekday-only shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
* You will be responsible for administering medications and IV infusions, patient assessment, education, and side-effect management, insertion and care of peripheral and central access devices, supporting procedures and providing pre/post care, maintaining accurate patient records, offering emotional support to patients and families, and assisting with day-to-day clinic operations.
