Job Title
A role that combines case management and return to work coordination, requiring a professional with experience in managing workers' compensation cases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality case management services to clients within the Australian jurisdictions for workers' compensation claims.
* Support individuals recovering from injuries by facilitating their return to work and pre-injury activities.
* Implement return to work plans in workplaces, promoting workers' recovery at work.
* Assist employers in meeting their obligations under workers' compensation legislation.
* Liaise with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in case management within the NSW scheme.
* Experience working within self-insurance is highly regarded.
* RTW coordination experience and SIRA Certification are essential.
* Understand day-to-day requirements for applying benefits and claims management, including calculating PIAWE, drafting disputes, and applying the reasonable and necessary test for medical treatment.
* A current police clearance or willingness to obtain.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
* A sense of urgency in daily activities.
* Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude, and positive approach.
