About This Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Student Wellbeing Specialist.
This role will focus on supporting whole-school wellbeing approaches by guiding schools in developing and implementing inclusive behavior management systems and policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the development of holistic student support plans that address complex psychological, behavioral, or medical needs.
* Providing case management support for students, including documentation and individual programming.
* Fostering partnerships with agencies to strengthen coordinated care and enhance service delivery for vulnerable students and their families.
* Promoting trauma-informed practice, student engagement, and proactive behavior support within schools.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategies and planning around wellbeing, behavior, and inclusion.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
* Experience in school-based or system-level roles supporting student behavior, wellbeing, or inclusion.
* Postgraduate qualifications in behavior support, special education, psychology, or leadership (desirable).
* Accreditation to work in Catholic Education (or willingness to obtain).
* Current driver's license & willingness to undertake travel as required.
* Current working with children check.
