Job Description
This part-time role involves assisting in the process of continuous improvement, aligning with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support continuous improvement efforts to meet the Aged Care Standards and related requirements.
* Assist in ensuring 100% compliance within the Quality Standards through auditing and policy processes.
* Educate, coordinate and mentor clinical staff to uphold quality and governance standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* At least 3 years experience in the aged care sector, preferably in a quality role.
* Proven understanding of quality, compliance and clinical governance principles.
* Strong knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process.
* Excellent understanding of quality assurance and auditing processes.
* Able to learn new systems and technologies.
* Experience in continuous improvement, gap analysis and risk assessment would be an advantage.
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to coordinate, educate and mentor clinical staff.
Working Conditions
* Part-time schedule of three days per week, with 7.5 hours per day.
