$200,000 – $230,000 per year (Roster Dependent)

About the role:
Our Port Hedland division is a diverse operation servicing a range of mining clients in BHP, FMG and Roy Hill across the region. We have a strong local presence conducting maintenance, shutdown work and projects for our varied list of clients.
CPC Engineering Port Hedland are currently seeking a Project/Shutdown Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical teams across scheduled shutdowns and project scopes in the (mining / industrial / oil & gas) sector. This is a great opportunity to shape and define the CPC Electrical team and make it your own.
With project-based work at BHP, FMG and Roy Hill as well as continual plant maintenance we are looking for a candidate with strong experience in mine site plant operations and expertise in mine site commissioning, planning while being detailed orientated to drive the electrical team forward.
To be successful in this role you will require:
Experience as an Electrical Supervisor leading a team and contractors.
Ability to supervise and coordinate electrical works during shutdowns and projects
Demonstrated experience on fixed plant maintenance projects within the mining and resources industry.
Liaise with planners, engineers, and other trades for smooth execution along with assisting estimators with scoping and tendering process.
Lead and motivate crews to meet tight deadlines safely and efficiently.
Experience in job front set up, procurement through to execution and Coordination/Delegation to you work crews.
Be involved in creating risk assessments, CRAWS and project safety implementation.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, site procedures, and permit systems.
An ability to manage a team effectively with well-developed communication skills.
Plan and organise work to meet the projects requirements and promote productivity.
Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with clients and have a key input in driving the electrical team forward.
Qualifications/licence and Clearances:
Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role on shutdowns and projects
Section 26 (To current onsite regulations and WHS acts)
Electrical trade qualification (Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent) WA License
Electrical Contractor License (Highly Desirable)
Construction White Card
High-risk work licenses (e.g., EWP, Working at Heights, LVR/CPR)
Highly desirable but not essential:
FMG Inductions.
BHP Inductions.
