Job Title: HSE Manager
As a key player in the development and implementation of risk-based health, safety, and environmental policies, practices, and services, you will play a pivotal role in steering our organization towards a safer and more sustainable future.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective HSEQ management systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Provide leadership for audits and risk assessments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations.
* Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and identify trends for management reports.
* Oversee rehabilitation legislation, manage compensable cases, and maintain confidentiality.
* Collate and analyze statistics on injuries, occurrences, and countermeasures.
* Prepare management briefings, conduct timely audits, and devise safety training programs.
* Ensure defined Health & Safety training requirements are met through regular site visits.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an HSE Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
* Experience working on Projects within Residential, Defence, Health, Commercial or Complex Services, preferably with projects valued at $100m or higher.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, including those related to Industrial Relations & Unions.
* Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs, with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
