About the position: We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our Sales Team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, who thrives on lead generation and engaging directly with customers. You will support the management and development of our regional customers in the Residential space. In addition to standard Account Manager duties, a key focus is on growing our residential customer base through active lead generation and pursuit of new opportunities. This is a full-time role based at our Adelaide (SA) site, with regular travel required. Key Responsibilities Manage active accounts and identify opportunities to scale and increase account size. Expand our customer base by identifying and pursuing new residential sales opportunities. Maintain a customer-focused approach and aim to be a market leader in our niche. Visit customers and stakeholders face-to-face, with KPIs and strategic goals guiding your efforts. Accurately record customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce. Focus on budget management, demonstrate tech savviness, and resilience in a competitive environment. Build and maintain strong relationships across Stramit to ensure excellent customer service. To be considered for this role, you should have Proven experience and strong skills in sales. Familiarity with the industry is advantageous; experience in roll forming is not essential. Excellent relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach. Experience using Salesforce CRM to chase leads and track progress. A collaborative team player who can also work independently. Experience in driving sales with a hunting mentality and influential skills; business development background is highly preferred.
