The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced trade-qualified HD Mechanic who is available for an immediate start at our busy Forrestfield workshop.
This role requires a commitment of at least 38 hours per week.
The right candidate will possess the capability to perform Trailer Servicing, Preventive Maintenance, and Mechanical Repairs on various types of Semi-trailers and related equipment.
About You
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter qualification is required with proven experience in Semi-trailer Servicing & Repairs
Minimum 1-2 years of semi-trailer experience
Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills in Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical work will be highly regarded
Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required
Ability to communicate, understand verbal and written instructions
Ability to work in a team environment with a commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent work ethic, with a reliable and helpful attitude
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including a D&A screen
Forklift or First Aid tickets would be highly regarded
