Make every day different by joining our Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service. We have a current vacancy as a Clinical Nurse (Together In Mind Coordinator). As a coordinator you will help with the leadership of a specialised unit who care for parents who are going through neonatal and perinatal struggles such as a miscarriage, still birth neonatal death or termination and are experiencing moderate to severe mental health as a result.

This role will work collaboratively within the context of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of evidence-based person-centred care and service planning, supporting a culture reflective of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service values. We are looking for an experienced person who can guide this team with training, eduacation and promotion and advocacy of perinatal and infant mental health.
About you:
In your new role you will……
* Accountable for NMBA and own standards, actions and the outcomes of own nursing/midwifery practice, professional advice given and for activities delegated to a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, or unregulated healthcare worker.
* Act as a role model for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and unregulated healthcare workers in the provision of holistic healthcare.
* Engage in incident reporting and investigation and conduct and apply quality improvement frameworks and audits and develop risk minimisation strategies/activities to promote safe and/or rectify unsafe practice.
