Job Description
The Shutdown Planner is an identified individual allocated to manage the planning, coordination and execution of facilities shutdown/configuration change activities in support of planned maintenance and/or construction project works at JDFPG.
The Shutdown Planner is responsible for developing deliberate and controlled solutions to facilitate transitions between standard and non-standard facility critical infrastructure configuration. As part of this responsibility, the planner coordinates the creation of impact assessments, interprets relevant stakeholder comments, assists in communicating technical impacts, drafts and reviews configuration change procedures and associated documentation. During the execution phase, the planner manages and coordinates stakeholders, including conducting HV switching operations as required (training provided). This position plays an integral role within a diverse and complex work environment and is a key advisor to the Project, O&M and customer teams across the Program Site.
Applicants must be a USA citizen who has a TS/SCI or an Australian citizen who can obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.
Responsibilities / Duties
* Lead the development, review and update of configuration and procedural documentation.
* Plan, coordinate, and administer tasks in support of critical infrastructure configuration change.
* Prepare, develop, update and manage documentation relevant to facility standard configuration.
* Review and provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from general concepts through to detailed IFC designs.
* Support stakeholder engagement, communication and requirement definition.
* Develop and implement change management practices for critical infrastructure.
* Support the integration, coordination, compilation and communication of technical information, recommendations and advice relevant to facility infrastructure, systems and equipment.
* Provide technical recommendations, input, direction and advice on facilities systems, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance and life‐cycle management.
* Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
Qualifications Minimum Essential
* Certificate IV, Electrical / HVAC Trades Certificate or equivalent.
Desirable
* Project Management Qualifications.
* Post Graduate Qualifications.
* Field: Any relevant or related discipline.
Tickets and Licences Minimum Essential
* Driver's License.
Desirable
* CPR.
* Australian White Card.
* First Aid.
Experience – Minimum Essential Desirable
* Ability to interpret technical drawings/schematics and information.
* Sound interpersonal and communications skills.
* Current knowledge of power generation and distribution, load management, data center power systems.
* Configuration management.
* Building management and control systems.
* Facilities operation and maintenance.
* HVAC.
* Project management.
* Leadership and management.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
Ability to lift up to 10 kg independently.
Security Clearance Requirement
Employees must obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. This may require a TSPV Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance.
