Overview
TIA Consulting is a small Building Design & Project Management business operating in Adelaide since 1984.
We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified Building Designer with a minimum of 5 years work experience in residential and smaller scale commercial buildings. We envisage the applicant to be working 2 to 4 days per week, which can be negotiable.
Responsibilities
The applicant must be able to manage projects from inception to completion, including meeting & liaison with clients, liaison with council's & utilizing the PlanSA portal, managing sub-consultants, site measure up, design development & contract documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Applicants must hold a Diploma in Building Design as a minimum qualification.
- Australian citizenship is required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years of the required 5 years experience must be specifically in residential building design.
- The applicant must be able to manage projects from inception to completion, including meeting & liaison with clients, liaison with council's & utilizing the PlanSA portal, managing sub-consultants, site measure up, design development & contract documentation.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD and must be experienced in using the Building Code of Australia & local Council Development Plans & Access Code.
- Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills. A current Driver's Licence is also required.
