We are looking for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to support our Workshop Lead in keeping operations running smoothly, maintaining high standards, and getting the best out of the team. You?ll play a key role on the floor?coordinating jobs, assisting technicians, and helping ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to step into or grow within a leadership role, with the backing and guidance of an experienced Workshop Lead.

Roster
* Monday - Friday Roster
* 6am - 4pm Daily Shifts
* On call responsibilities as per operational requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily workshop activities from the floor, working alongside the team to keep jobs moving and on track
* Lead by example, supporting technicians and apprentices with hands-on work, guidance, and day-to-day problem solving
* Allocate jobs and set priorities based on workload, deadlines, and team capability
* Keep a close eye on job progress, stepping in where needed to avoid delays or rework
* Carry out and oversee repairs, servicing, and defect work to ensure jobs are completed correctly the first time
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with workshop procedures and compliance requirements
* Work closely with parts and management to organise components, minimise downtime, and keep workflow steady
* Assist with breakdowns and callouts, including participation in the on-call roster
* Provide practical, trade-qualified support with diagnostics, fault finding, and more complex repairs
What Are We Looking For?
* Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
* HR Licence (preferred)
* Strong understanding of compliance requirements and maintenance practices
* Demonstrated experience in a workshop supervisory or senior trade role
* Strong leadership and people skills
* Solid technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
* A proactive, can-do attitude with great organisation skills
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
