Job Title: OSHC Assistant Director
Mother Teresa Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced OSHC Assistant Director to lead our Outside School Hours Care program. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school community dedicated to the holistic development of every child.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging, inclusive programs for children aged 5–12 years.
* Ensure the OSHC service meets the National Quality Framework and all regulatory requirements.
* Lead and support staff to provide a positive and nurturing environment.
* Manage enrolments, attendance, and communication with families.
* Ensure safe food handling, health, and safety practices are maintained.
* Build and sustain strong relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
* Work collaboratively with school leadership to align with the school's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
As the OSHC Assistant Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive programs for children aged 5-12 years.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to foster a positive, faith-filled, and inclusive environment.
This role requires a passionate and experienced individual who can inspire and lead our team to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of our children and families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma or working towards Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
* Previous experience in an OSHC or leadership role within an education and care service.
* Strong knowledge of the NQF, My Time Our Place Framework, and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to foster a positive, faith-filled, and inclusive environment.
* Current Working with Children Clearance (OCHRE Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
