About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist to fill a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor position in Clinical Exercise Physiology. The successful candidate will contribute to the continuing design and development of curricula for Exercise and Sport Science degrees, lead research efforts, and take on key leadership roles.
The ideal applicant will have a strong background in teaching and education development, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes. A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline and significant school teaching experience are also essential.
A commitment to building and maintaining research networks, as well as skills in mentoring and supporting early career academics and higher degree research candidates, is required. Additionally, expertise in people management and staff support will be valuable assets in this role.
About You
To be considered, you must possess a completed doctoral qualification in a relevant field and have demonstrated school teaching experience. Your strong research contribution to the field, evidence of capacity to build and maintain research networks, and skills in mentoring and supporting early career academics and higher degree research candidates will be highly valued.
You should also possess skills in people management and staff support, which will enable you to effectively lead and manage teams.
