Business Manager Job Description
At our company, we are seeking an exceptional Business Manager to lead our business as it continues to expand and deliver innovative projects.
* To effectively manage resources and achieve project schedules.
* To engage, direct, and lead a team of experienced civil and construction personnel.
* To manage sub-contractors and be accountable for HSE standards, policies, and processes.
* To identify, monitor, and develop high levels of compliance and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee plans and specifications of the work set out in the contract.
* To develop scopes of work, detailed cost estimates, budgets, contract bids, shop drawings, and deliverable schedules relative to tender package.
* To oversee cost management, scheduling, profit and loss, labour management, invoice approval, billing, collections, inspections, close-outs, and client relations.
Required Attributes and Experience:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements and drive operational efficiencies.
* To build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
* To be highly motivated and client-focused.
* To have minimum five (5) years' experience as a Construction Manager.
* To possess proven leadership skills.
* To have strong knowledge and extensive experience in building & construction.
* To excel in verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
* To be passionate about motivating and engaging others as you lead your team.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
The successful candidate will hold an Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management), QBCC Open Builders Licence, and Business Management.
