Job Description Viva Energy Australia have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join our team and provide expert legal advice and support across a diverse range of transactions and strategic initiatives. This role will primarily focus on our Convenience & Mobility (Retail) business, where you’ll partner with stakeholders to navigate complex legal matters, ensure compliance, and enable business growth. You’ll play a critical role in shaping commercial outcomes, mitigating risk, and delivering practical solutions that align with our long-term objectives. Responsibilities & Requirements Convenience & Mobility (Retail): Provide legal advice on contract interpretation, risk management, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Draft and review a variety of commercial agreements. Advise on advertising/marketing campaigns and customer competitions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal support aligns with business objectives and mitigates potential risks. General Legal Support: Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and other departments within the organisation. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and support compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party advisors.
