Are you a qualified Maintenance Fitter looking for a stable day shift role with a respected industry leader?
Galaxy Personnel is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join the team at a well-known brand within the beverage industry, located in the beautiful Yarra Valley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, fast-paced production environment, supporting critical maintenance operations for one of the region's most recognised names in the food and beverage sector.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on high-speed production and packaging machinery.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose and repair equipment to minimise downtime.
* Assist in commissioning new equipment and supporting production upgrades.
* Perform general site maintenance, including utilities and building services as needed.
* Keep accurate maintenance records and contribute to ongoing reliability strategies.
* Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to support smooth daily operations.
* Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and OH&S standards in every task.
What We're Looking For:
* Trade-qualified Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter- (Cert III)
* Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing or another high-compliance industry a must
* Strong skills in mechanical fault finding, fabrication, and repair.
* Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures including SWMS.
* A proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
* Clear communication and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
