The successful intern would get exposure to the following duties:

o Preparation of estimates, bar schedules detailing diameters, grades, shape of bars for production using ASA Software.
o Printing tags & delivery tickets using the software.
o Accurately take off reinforcing steel and preparation of cutting list (works schedule) of reinforcing for manufacture and delivery
o Responsible for interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, and procedures to estimate and quantify reinforcements for both precast and insitu concrete structures.
o Actively promote our products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins
o Communicating with builders, engineers, suppliers, customers, production and site personnel
o Prioritising plans/ scheduling to ensure on time delivery
o Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
o Displaying initiative and the ability to see the big picture
o Providing input/ feedback for product development and to enhance the builder's experience
o Prepare and maintain documents for all jobs/orders
o Responsible for QA Check
